The University of Mannheim Business School is inviting applications for the W3 (=full professor) position
of a
Professor of Service Operations
Appointment will start by the fall semester of 2012. Applicants are sought with a research interest
focusing on the design, management, and optimization of service systems.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Interested candidates must have a Ph.D. in operations, management science, or a
related discipline and a demonstrated ability to conduct high-level research publishable in premier
academic journals. The School also expects a commitment to high quality teaching at the undergraduate
and graduate levels. Experience in executive teaching is welcomed. All courses may be taught in English.
