This unique Conference is dedicated to a celebration of the Polish
Presidency of the European Union
Objective
The main objective of this new conference is to explore the future of
higher education in the context of unprecedented progress in science,
engineering and technology, and to develop new paradigms for higher
education systems, their delivery administration, and funding in the
future.
STHESCA aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas and provide networking
opportunities for science and technology policy makers, university
administrators, higher education leaders, faculty members and industry
and government representatives, taking into account European, American
and Asia-Pacific perspectives.
STHESCA will concentrate on three key issues:

Scientific Publications
‘We are planning to publish the conference materials in a series of
book volumes. The details concerning paper abstracts and deadlines for
submitting papers are announced in the “Publication” section of the
conference website.
Conference Venue
The congress will be held at the Jagiellonian University Conference
Center in the Royal Capital City of Krakow, the former capital of
Poland. On the first day, the conference will be held at the
Jagiellonian University Auditorium Maximum, 33 Krupnicza Street.
Auditorium Maximum is a modern lecture and theatre complex that was
officially opened in 2005. It is located within walking distance of both
Krakow’s old town in the city center and the conference hotels.
About Krakow, Poland
Krakow is still considered as the cultural capital of Poland, which
offers its long and rich history and traditions, and is included in the
UNESCO World Heritage List. Outside of conference activities, you will
have an opportunity to visit the astonishing and beautiful old city,
placed on the Vistula river, beneath the Royal Castle on Wawel Hill.
Krakow`s centre, still looks and feels like the late medieval city state
it once was. Krakow resonates with the historical impact of its
contribution to the cultural and political development of Europe. It has
almost overwhelming range of galleries full of exhibitions, cafes
restaurants fabulous buildings and treasures crammed between its
churches.
